COVID-19 INFORMATION
North Pointe Surgery Center takes the health and safety of our patients and staff very seriously. We are currently following all necessary precautions to help lessen the spread of COVID-19 infections.
If you are sick or believe you may have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please call our office to reschedule your appointment for a more appropriate time. We recommend you follow appropriate self-quarantine guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Precautions We’re Taking
Here are some of the precautions we’re taking – and what you can expect – when you visit North Pointe Surgery Center:
- Face masks that cover the nose and mouth must be worn at all times in our offices, unless and until instructed by your medical provider to temporarily remove it for exam purposes. This applies to patients as well as office staff and medical providers.
- We may take your temperature or conduct another COVID-19 symptom-screening before allowing you into our offices.
- We will continue to increase the space between chairs in common seating areas and reduce the number of people allowed in the waiting rooms in order to follow social distancing guidelines recommended by the CDC whenever possible.
- In some cases, we may ask that you remain comfortably seated in your vehicle until our staff is ready to receive you for your appointment.
- We ask that you restrict the number of people accompanying you to your appointment to just one person, if needed for mobility or other assistance.
- Regular sanitization of common areas will be conducted between patients, as appropriate.
